How It Works

Each TumbleMelt robot autonomously navigates ocean currents using solar power. When it encounters microplastics, it releases a bio-safe binding agent that clumps particles together. Once clusters reach optimal size, robots signal collection vessels that harvest and melt the material into standardized construction blocks. The process is continuous, carbon-negative, and completely harmless to marine ecosystems.
