Time-boxed micro-challenges for artists, writers, and makers
ClownClock transforms the terrifying blank canvas into a playful game. Each 15-minute "act" combines urgency with delightful constraints that make starting feel less scary—and more like stepping into a circus ring where mistakes are just part of the show.
A user stares at a blank canvas for 2 hours. Finally, they click "Start Act 1"— a clown nose appears on screen with a 15-minute countdown and a silly prompt: "Draw the worst version of this." They create something terrible, laugh, and suddenly the block is broken. Act 2 reveals: "Now take that terrible drawing and hide a tiny detail inside it that's actually beautiful." They keep going, each act peeling back layers, and 45 minutes later they've made something they're proud of—without ever feeling the crushing weight of perfectionism.
