Hola! This is Carlos from the Guanacaste cooperative. Today is March 15th, and I'm planting your papaya seedling — let's call it Luna. The soil here is rich and dark, perfect for roots. I dug a hole twice as wide as the pot, careful not to disturb the delicate taproot. Our rainy season starts next month, so Luna will have plenty of water to establish herself. I've placed a small marker with your name next to her. She's about 15 centimeters tall now, with two embryonic leaves reaching toward the sun. By the time you hear this, she'll be much taller.
This is a sample of the audio stories you'll receive quarterly from your farmer.
