Hey superfans! Here's a rough pencil sketch I did this morning. Been exploring the relationship between organic shapes and geometric structures. This piece is inspired by the tropical rainforests of Costa Rica—the way light filters through the canopy layers.

Watch me build up the color layers! I'm using a wet-on-wet technique here, starting with washes of turquoise and deep purple. The key is patience—each layer needs to dry completely before the next. See how I'm leaving the white of the paper for the highlights? That's the paper doing the work, not white paint.
