Autonomous Flood Detection System
Wind-powered balloons equipped with shadow-sensing cameras and torrent-detection algorithms float above construction sites and flood-prone areas. They detect the subtle shadows cast by rising underground water and surface torrents before they're visible to humans.
A construction manager gets an alert on their phone: 'Underground water torrent detected, 30 minutes until foundation flooding.' They look up and see one of the balloons gently spinning in the wind, having spotted the invisible threat 45 minutes before any human could have noticed.
