ChromaDial creates interactive outdoor murals using photochromic and thermochromic paints that reveal different images based on the sun's position. We help artists design experiences where shadows and light unlock time-based content.
🌅 THE MAGIC: At 8:45am, a school mural appears as a muted grey wall with outlines. When the sun hits the right angle at 9:00am, the paint chemistry activates and suddenly a vibrant solar system blooms into view across the entire surface—in full color, right before their eyes, like magic. Students return at lunch to find it transformed again into an entirely different ecosystem illustration.
